Welcome to the plugin directory. This site is part of the b2evolution project, a feature-rich, open source blog engine. The plugin directory exists to catalogue the plugins and hacks that have been created to extend b2evolution.
Name: Killer Bees (aka blogger avatars)
Author: EdB
Description: I guess I could have called this "YAAP" because it is Yet Another Avatar Plugin, but hey what's in a name right?
This plugin is a knockoff of AstonishMe's AM Custom Profile plugin. What it does is allow your bloggers to upload an avatar and create a signature block. The admin has to allow "user directories" for it to work, then each post by the blogger will show their avatar and signature block.
Mostly good for multi-user blogs?
Name: Mail Sender
Author: sam2kb
Description: This plugin allows you to send emails to registered users.
You can exclude users and groups, specify message encoding, send as text or/and HTML, attach files and receive detailed reports on selected email.
Advanced users can use external emails source.
Name: Save and review / Autosave
Author: Tblue
Description: This plugin adds an autosave functionality to b2evolution: The post you're editing or creating gets autosaved every X seconds (default is 5 minutes), so your post won't be lost completely if your browser or operating system crashes.
The plugin also adds a "Save and review" button to the post form.
Various features of the plugin can be changed and disabled on the plugin's settings page.
Name: UserBlog Plugin
Author: sam2kb
Description: This plugin creates a new blog when user clicks a link in their profile page.
Blog short name and category will have the same name as login.
The plugin has several options built in:
You can choose if you want to use stub files or not, with or without extension, if you want to store stub files in separate directories or all in a subdirectory.
You can also decide if you want to give users administration rights and own media folder on registration or not, and set the default descriptions and default skin for the new user's blogs.
Name: Avatars plugin
Author: sam2kb
Description: The Avatars Plugin allows you to attach avatars (display pictures, gravatars, profile pics, etc) to a user, blog, and category. You upload avatars within the b2evo administration, with either a large or small (or both) avatar images. If a large avatar image is specified then lightbox functionality is seen, as when the user clicks the small avatar, the large avatar will show in a lightbox.
This plugin works in b2evo 2.x versions only.
Name: Quick Upload
Author: sam2kb
Description: Do you have many files/images in your media folder?
When you hit the "files" button it takes a long time to load as it loads all the files/images in the folder. What if you have a few hundreds of files...
This plugin provides a button for quick and easy files upload.
By default it uploads files in blog's media folder (if you create or edit post in Blog B all files get uploaded to /media/blogs/b or whatever is set as default media dir for this blog ).
You can also enable a directories select tree in plugin settings and choose a directory before uploading files.
Name: Widget Manager
Author: EdB
Description: Widget Manager manages your widgets. Not really. Actually YOU manage your widgets via your widgets sub-tab. What this lets you do is copy the widget config from a blog you pick as your "mother blog" to any and all other blogs. Useful if you want the same, or basically the same widget selection on all your blogs is the thing. Like, copy the "mother" config over to a new blog, then do minor tweaks to make the new blog be exactly what it needs to be.
Name: MoreTags
Author: EdB
Description: A VERY simple little toolbar that will let you add a splash of colors to your posts. Or heading tags. And "custom" divs that you style on the plugin's settings.
NOT a WYSIWYG editor!!! If you want that level check out the TinyMCE plugin.
(Untested in anything prior to v2.3.0-RC1)
Name: Thumbnails
Author: Tears
Description: Creates automatically thumbnails from images bigger than a specified size. If a lightbox2 is installed it can create automattically a lightbox-link to the original image (works also without lightbox -> than it's simply a link).
Tested with version 2.0.2, may work with earlier version too.
Attention: You have to CHMOD /thumbnail_plugin/thumbcache/ to 777 after installing!
Name: custom page
Author: Stefan Hummert
