AcroLink lets you build a list of keywords that become either acronyms or links. If you use it for links you also get a title tag with your link. The list of keywords is maintained in your back office - there is no need for editing external files. The plugin settings allow you to specify which blog(s) it applies to, and who can add to or edit or delete keywords from the list.

Nice! I’m going to use this.

Nitpicky request would be to have a back office setting so that Acrolink will only do its magic once per keyword (i.e. only the first instance of a keyword is Acrolinked…subsequent instances remain unaltered).

Very cool (and necessary) plugin!

As a selectable option, this is something I would LOVE to do! I’ll give it a try but no promises. The core piece of the file was written a long time ago by someone much smarter than me, so I’m not gonna make any promises other than to try one day.
