The Avatars Plugin allows you to attach avatars (display pictures, gravatars, profile pics, etc) to a user, blog, and category. You upload avatars within the b2evo administration, with either a large or small (or both) avatar images. If a large avatar image is specified then lightbox functionality is seen, as when the user clicks the small avatar, the large avatar will show in a lightbox.

Is there a demo? Does it work where I can assign an avatar to unregistered users?
It would be cool to do this for “friends and frequent visitors” who are not registered but you know - like personalization.
It could be based on domain or email addresses. Thus, given an email address or URL, b2evo would know to show a given avatar.

There is no live demo, but you can use a demo skin if you just want to see how it works. You can’t assign avatars to unregistered users.
It’s technically possible to link avatars to email and URL combination, but I have to finish post avatars, update lightbox libraries and fix some known bugs first.
Thanks for feedback.

You can see a live demo on my site.
Sam included all my suggestions in this mega plugin widget.
You still need to add skintags in your skin offcourse. The avatars do not apear magically.
For unregistered users we show the gravatar (from www.gravatar.com) and if they are not registered there, then it shows a default image.
