reCAPTCHA is a free service that protects your site from spam and abuse. It uses advanced risk analysis techniques to tell humans and bots apart. With the new API, a significant number of your valid human users will pass the reCAPTCHA challenge without having to solve a CAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA comes in the form of a widget that you can easily add to your blog, forum, registration form, etc.

This version is similar to the Captcha questions plugin, but instead it uses Google’s reCAPTCHA 2.0

1) The plugin requires the user to register with google to obtain Site Secret and Site Key.
2) The plugin does come with Google’s testing Secret and Key, however it should only be used for testing purposes.
3) The user can specify if the user form submit is visible, enabled before or after the user response is completed.
4) The user can select between the ‘dark’ and ‘light’ theme.
