Name: Bottrap X
Author: Tears
Description: This plugin adds a hidden link to your blog. Only robots which ignore the robots exclusion standard will follow this link and get blocked from your entire blog.

Protects from spambots, adress crawlers and so on. You can block robots manually or unblock good robots which made a little mistake.

Name: Turing Test 220
Author: EdB
Description: Turing Test is an antispam tool that lets you ask your visitors a question before they can submit a comment. "What color is red" or "Type 'foo' in the box" (which isn't a question but you get the idea). A wrong or missing answer means the visitor has to try again.

Protects comments, message forms, and registration.

(This is an upgrade of an existing plugin for v220)

Name: DNS Trackback anti-spam
Author: Larry Nieves (aka Austriaco)
Description: The (almost) definitive solution to trackback spam. It checks IP address of incoming trackback and compares with IP address(es) of referred site. If they don't match, trackback is rejected as Spam. Developed and tested with B2evo 1.10.2 but could work with previous 1.9.x versions.

Bad Behavior / Bad Behaviour

Name: Bad Behavior / Bad Behaviour
Author: Michael Hampton
Description: Bad Behavior is a set of PHP scripts which prevents spambots from accessing your site by analyzing their actual HTTP requests and comparing them to profiles from known spambots. It goes far beyond User-Agent and Referer, however. Bad Behavior is available for several PHP-based software packages, and also can be integrated in seconds into any PHP script.

Antispam Reckeck (Dawn)

Name: Antispam recheck
Author: EdB
Description: Okay here's the deal: this hack doesn't do a damned thing about preventing or thwarting spammers. All it does is make your back office a little bit easier to manage. A lot easier actually.

Antispam Redirect

Name: An effective, simple and great performing Anti Spam solution!
Author: Julien Moorrees
Description: What this does: it redirects the client (and no server redirect!) to a new URL. Because I renamed my index.php to goedzo.php, this works for the real user. The spammers will never follow this redirect.

Antispam Bandwidth

Name: Antispam Bandwidth
Author: Isaac wrote the code but EdB wrote the thread
Description: This hack cuts the bandwidth spammers steal when they try to hit your blog if they are in your antispam table. Easily installed, and the biggest (first) part can/will survive upgrades.

Antispam Updates with Cron

Name: Antispam Updates with Cron
Author: Isaac Schlueter
Description: This hack creates a stripped-down version of the update script, which can be triggered using a cronjob so that antispam updates are done automatically at regular intervals.
